Wonder Woman Costume

I have a thing about Wonder Woman and Grayling, my Blythe, has the perfect hair for the Diana look, so here you are, photos of her knitted costume as well as Wonder Cat and an alternate universe Red Sun Wonder Woman outft!

Wonder Cat

I can't take the credit for the Wonder Cat pattern, that was from this splendid knitter (the link isn't working because I can't find the pattern but when I track it down I will credit it...)

Both made from Wendy EMU 119m/50g yarn on size 2.75 needles.

Little shorts (Also Wonder Woman Shorts)
Cast on 23 st in blue
RS: CO 2 st, K to end
WS: CO 2 st, P to end
RS: K2tog, K to end
WS: P2tog, P to end
Knit in Stockingette St until work measures ending on a WS row
RS: K2, K2tog, repeat until last 3. K3.
Cast off with right side facing.
With right sides together, sew from the top front to half way up the back seam.
Sew inside legs
Turn the correct way round and add popper.
(For Wonder Woman panties: with white thread, make small star stitches.)

Bodice (basic bodice shape)

Cast On 30st
Knit 1" in Stockingette St.
Next ro: bind off first 8 st. Put 14 st on hold, bind off remaining 8 st.
14 st remaining.
continuing in stocking st to end:
knit 1 row
K2tog at begining and end of next row.
12 st remaining.
Knit 5 rows of stockingette st. Cast Off.

Oversew top centre to create heart shape. Add popper.

For Wonder Woman, use gold yarn to knit the first few rows of the bodice and a tapestry needle to embroider the rest.

I'm a Wonder Woman fan too. Your paterns are great! As a kid I got my mom to sew a set of Wonder Woman clothes for a dark haired doll of mine.

Every doll needs a wonderwoman outfit! I'd knit one for myself if I thought I could get away with it but I doubt I could!
